So I am watching FFVIII cutscenes, and I was watching the scenes where the two Gardens (Balamb and Galbadia) are battling, and I just noticed that the Galbadia SEEDS totally ripped off the Shinra Trooper uniform...

Okay, okay. As some of you may know (and many of you probably don't) Naruto is the first fandom I've ever really followed. In fact, I've been a Naruto fan for nearly 5 years now (wow, that's a long time, now that I think about it).

As a point, I usually prefer the manga over the anime, because anime usually have annoying filler arcs that I find to be pointless dribble. (A few have different scenarios, though- with Fullmetal Alchemist, I prefer the manga because it has Ling and I like Ling (Not that I've seen much of the anime...it looks promising). With Death Note, however, I prefer the anime because the anime is freaking awesome- I couldn't go past the 13th episode because the suspense was just killing me, no pun intended. I'm also a Harry Potter Book Canon Nazi.)

Anyway, I haven't read Naruto for nearly a year- I was kind of disappointed with the way the story was going. I heard rumors and whatnot about what was happening but, last night I decided to catch up with the manga...

Cue 'OMG' symptoms.

Just finished my last day of classes for the semester. After staying up until 3 this morning writing an essay, spending another three hours suffering through another essay and consequently skipping lunch and winding up with the migraine to eat all migraines along with a backache and sore hands and wrists... let's just say, am I glad it's over.

My Spring Break has just started, which is good because school has just about eaten my brain. Three essays and a midterm (in History, no less, and you know how picky about facts those damn historians are...) in one week, I haven't had much time for writing, or anything else really...

I need to but a bridesmaids dress next week, so that it'll arrive in the next twelve weeks (yes, that -is- the waiting time...). *sigh* I'm going to sleep until -noon- tomorrow...

Now, to start working on that damn essay that's due tomorrow...

Okay, so one of the classes I'm taking this semester is an Acting class (for non-majors, since I don't even -have- a major at this point), and well, last week on Thursday we were paired up and given an assignment. We had to write a scene together (filling about a notebook page) however, we weren't allowed to talk to each other while we worked.

My partner (who was a boy) and I? We created the most stupid and ridiculous scene ever.

I wrote parts 'A' and he wrote 'B', and we were required to act them out in front of the class... then we had to switch roles and act it again. The second time around, the teacher cried out "That script is so stupid!" and then had to pause to regain her composure. I had the hardest time keeping a straight face- it was practically impossible.

Okay, so many of you know me for my FF7Naruto fusion fics. Well, for a while I've been stalkingreading this Naruto fic, which I think is absolutely amazing.

It's called The Nine Broken Mirrors by aliana iskassa over on LJ.

It's an AU gen fic about the Jinchuuriki, and she has several OCs playing Jinchuuriki and well, they are people. The way she characterizes everyone and all of the relationship dynamics in the story is simply beautiful. This story puts me to shame.

So I just went and saw the movie Cloverfield... It was interesting, and definitely different from the norm as far as movies go. Some parts stretched my realm of disbelief, though over all I thought it was good.

It'll probably give me weird dreams tonight, though, since my brain seems to like apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic scenarios best- they're the dreams I remember best, at least.

Back. Tired. Will write after I get lots and lots of sleep and my joints stop aching from jet lag.

Finals, I despise thee...

Anyway, I have finals and whatnot until Thursday, and then my family and I will be heading to Germany for ten(-ish) days to visit my older brother.

And, this is important because?

I'm a bit gimpy at the moment, as I had a surgery yesterday to remove a cyst from my right eyebrow, and since I'm wearing an ice pack to reduce swelling, I can only see out of one eye. Makes reading and typing difficult. So, I just did a quiz.
